Melissa Matthews of North Reading receives Physical Therapy services from GMVNA.\u00a0\u00a0 Melissa says her Physical Therapist, Tricia Mucci \u201chas been amazing\u201d.\u00a0 Melissa has multiple sclerosis (MS) and has been receiving therapeutic services for over a month thru the Greater Medford VNA.\u00a0 Tricia Mucci has been training Melissa in gait activities using a rolling walker, high level balance activities in sitting, standing, kneeling, safety training with transfers & gait in ADL (Activities in Daily Living) activities.\u00a0 Tricia said, \u201cwe have been working on core strengthening as well as Lower extremities and upper extremities strengthening.\u00a0 I also have been training her in proper adaptive equipment to assist in her everyday activities, walking and wheelchair needs.\u00a0 I have been coordinating her \u00a0\u00a0plan of care with her doctors and social worker as well as durable medical equipment representatives.\u201d<\/p>\n
