VNCC offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits plan designed to meet the needs of all our employees. Many of our benefits are at no cost to our employees, but some of our benefits are voluntary and are offered to our employees at an affordable group rate. Benefits – Full & Part Time Employees
Medical
We care about the health and well-being of our employees.VNCC pays 70% of the premium for our full time employees’ health coverage for the Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO deductible plan. We also cover 50% of the Dental Insurance premiums and 100% of the Long Term Disability and Life Insurance premiums. Other employee paid, voluntary benefits include Vision; Short Term Disability Insurance; Flexible Spending & Dependent Care Accounts; and Accident & Cancer Insurance Plans
Retirement Benefits
Our generous retirement benefit includes a defined contribution pension plan administered by Mass Mutual. The company contributes 2.5 % of the eligible employee’s salary to their retirement fund each year. In addition, we also provide a voluntary retirement fund via a Tax Sheltered Annuity 403 (b)
Paid Time-Off
We offer our employees a generous Paid Time-Off package. The accruals vary depending on exempt/non-exempt status and the number of hours worked.
Tuition Reimbursement and Paid Training
The professional development of our employees is important to us. We offer tuition reimbursements for courses related to an employee’s professional role and we also offer paid monthly classroom based training.
